(Translate: Toilet Doodles)

In my second year at Academy of  Valand we got to do public art in the city. I chose to work with the bar streets. When I moved to Gothenburg 2015 I was really inspired of the doodles at the walls in the toilets in Gothenburg's biggest bar street. How a lot of the texts and drawings worked as a communication between various toilet visitors true time. And that it became like a confessional booth for drunk people, sad people, people in love, horny people etc. So many feelings and so many thoughts.

I wanted to capture this and see how it builds up and if I could get the toilet visitors to answer questions about their mood right now, because  of the taboo of talking feelings in Sweden. 

I put up 4 plywood boards in 2 different bar toilets and wrote the question "How are you?" and "Are you happy?" (inspired of 

Alfredo Jaar -Studies on Happiness, 1981)

in 3 different languages, then left it to be filled with doodles and texts for about 2 months.

Then I broke them down and took them to my studio.

What I will do with them is still not decided.
